Charles Benton Crout Jr's Obituary
Charles (Buck) Crout Jr. 68, of Gardnerville, Nevada passed away on December 10, 2022. After battling multiple medical problems. Buck was born to Charles B. Crout Sr and Margaret Crout of Chesterton, Indiana on October 7, 1954. After high school Buck went 2 years at Purdue University. Buck then joined the band "Generation Gap" and traveled the country playing lead guitar and vocals. Buck met his wife Paula in 1976 in Barstow, California. In 1979 they moved to Lake Tahoe where he played in the bands "Jaded" and "of The Earth".
Buck is Preceded in death by his parents and nephew Jeff. Buck is survived by his Wife Paula, Daughters, Janet and Karen, Grandchildren, Ashley, Lee, Jarred, Camila, and Calleigh. Buck also had 3 Great Grandchildren. Buck also has a sister Donna and family who reside in Indiana.
"To Know Buck Was To Smile" he was quick with a poem or a joke. His love for music was only second to his love for his girls and family.
We know he is up in Heaven playing his guitar or repairing every electronic device he can find, then writing a song about it.
