Elaine Louise Walker's Obituary
Elaine Louise Walker was born to Arthur and Palma Henrikson in Berkeley, California, on June 1, 1946. She was raised in the Village of Montclair in Oakland, California. Elaine graduated from Skyline High School in Oakland and California State University Hayward. She worked for Chevron Oil Company where she met her husband, Harry Walker. She lived in San Francisco and Alameda, California until 2002 when she retired Elaine then moved to Reno where she lived for 23 years. She loved to travel and took many trips around the world. She is survived by her son, Alex (Suzanne), her sister, Ann-Berit Moyle (Archie Walker), niece Kari Newberg (William), nephews Gregory Moyle (Susanne), Christopher Moyle (Tammy), seven grandnephews and nieces and her Ya Ya sisters, Mary Ann Anderson, Linda Roesch, Karen Mihok and Donna Smith.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26 at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden, Nevada. A celebration of life reception will be held at Cocos and Moes, 1799 Ironwood Drive, Minden, at 12noon.
