Frank Warren's Obituary
Frank Charles Warren, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on April 24, 2026 in Carson City, Nevada after a lengthy illness. Frank was born at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, California on May 7, 1953 to Herman and Josephine Warren and lived in Hayward, California until moving to Livermore as a young man. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Warren, and children Ashley Chapman, Katy Heckmann and Bert Alan Warren as well as step-daughter Sharon Stokes; grandchildren Kali Costa, Hazel and Theo Chapman, Quinn and River Heckman, Meghan Mendez and Nicole Hawkins. He is also survived by his sister Diana Fugler and brother-in-law Jim Fugler (who was like a brother to him) of Hilmar, California, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a highly respected general contractor in California for many years and specialized in custom family homes. In 2000 he and Peggy moved to Nevada which had been a long-held dream of his. He built their home in rural Gardnerville and he and Peggy were married there in 2001. Frank obtained his Nevada contractor’s license in 2007 as well as his realtor’s license and continued to build several custom homes in the Minden/Gardnerville area. Frank was a cowboy at heart and truly loved living in Nevada. He enjoyed playing golf as well as hunting, fishing and camping, and absolutely loved having 4th of July parties for family and friends. Frank also enjoyed shooting sporting clays, especially with friends at the Livermore Rod & Gun Club.
Our beloved Frank will be missed so much. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date, but we will also remember and celebrate Frank with family and friends this 4th of July.
