He is survived by his wife Josie of almost 50 years, his daughters; Cathy Heflin (Kenneth) and Debbie Higgs, both of Russellville, AR., Tina Miller of Sebastopol, CA., and Marcie Miller of Carson City, NV. Grandchildren include David Heflin (Heather), of Pottsville, AR., Ashley Keeling (Jason), Sara Price (Nick), both of Russellville, AR., Gabrielle Hyde (Jim) of Charlotte, NC., and Jenelle Ullrich of Dana Point, CA.

As a young boy, Jim grew up at North New Hope, AR and graduated from Dover High School. He then moved to California to pursue his career with Sears and Roebuck, where he lived for many years. After retirement from Sears, he and Josie moved to Gardnerville where they continued building a beautiful life together. They enjoyed the beautiful snow topped mountains and watching the wild horses run in their back yard. His love for dogs continued and he & Josie were able to rescue several dogs over the years & always gave them a new best friend and a great home. Jim was one of the strongest, most gracious people you could meet. He always had a grateful heart for all of his daily blessings! All who knew him were blessed by him and his outlook. He will be loved, missed and in our hearts forever.
Cremation arrangements will be made by Eastside Memorial Park in Minden, NV
& a memorial service will be held at a later date.
