Kimberley Nagy's Obituary
Kimberly L (Turner) Nagy of Gardnerville, NV, had a passion for her family, photography and the Boston Red Sox. Kim was the wife of Mark J. Nagy, sharing 30 years of marriage, and the mother of Lucas (Luke) A. Nagy and Jacob (Jake) R. Nagy. Nothing would put a smile on Kim’s face quicker than asking her about her husband and her sons. They were the light of her life. She also had a keen eye for photography and captured many of the moments of their lives together – camping trips, ski and snowboarding adventures and family gatherings around the hot tub and fire pit in the backyard that was filled with flowers and landscaping that she and Mark did together.
Kim was born February 25, 1960 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Bonnie L. Robertshaw and Richard Turner. She graduated from Alameda High School in 1978. Although she explored various careers during her life, none were more important or satisfying to her than being a Mom and Aunt to her nieces and nephews. They all cherish their memories of times spent together.
Kim passed away at home on April 21, 2021. She is survived by her husband Mark, sons Luke and Jake; mother-in-law Peggy McKinnon, father-in-law Alexander P. Nagy and wife Ann; sister-in-law Tracy (Nagy) Taylor; niece Amanda (Taylor) Gomes and husband Fillipi; nieces Amber Burger, Rebecca (Burger) Erskine and husband Richard; Emily Burger; and nephews Nathaniel Burger and Samuel Burger. She is also survived by three great nieces, one great nephew and many cousins and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Richard H. Turner; mother, Bonnie L. Robertshaw; brother Richard H. Turner III, sister-in-law Cheryl A. (Nagy) Burger; nephew SPC Kenneth J. Iwasinski and step father-in-law Allan R. McKinnon.
The memorial service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
