Kory Bull's Obituary
Kory Bull, born April 18, 1975, in San Luis Obispo, California, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Minden, Nevada. Her life was defined by kindness, quiet strength, and a deep devotion to the people she cared for so deeply.
Kory was the beloved wife of Ernest Bull and the proud mother of Levi and Kaleb Bull, whose lives were her greatest joy. She is survived by her parents, Alfred and Linda Rusco; her grandmother, Marilyn Gerber; her sister, Kelly Salmons, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her great parents, Clyde and Mary Davis; grandfather Earl Gerber and grandparents, James and Gelotta Rusco.
A dedicated teacher, Kory spent her career teaching at Yerington Elementary School, where she touched so many young lives with her patience, creativity, and unwavering belief in every child’s potential. Her students, colleagues, and community will remember her as a gentle guiding light.
Her absence leaves an ache that words can’t quite capture, but her legacy lives on in her sons, her students, and everyone who was lucky enough to be part of her world.
Kory will be laid to rest at the Mottsville Cemetery in Gardnerville, NV. on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00am.
