My mom was very loving, caring and giving woman. She loved her husband and children very much and gave selflessly never thinking of herself. She always made sure we had whatever we needed and when possible, what we wanted; often sacrificing her own needs. Later in life, her love and tenderness were passed down to her grandkids and great grandkids. She made every holiday and family events, magical with her amazing cooking, baking and decorating. She fully embraced life, never missing a school, sport or social function for her family. She loved her friends and in turn, was loved back just as much. To quote one of our favorites movies The Wizard of Oz, “it is not how much you love but how much you are loved by others that matter” and she was loved immensely by others. She has been an amazing, devoted caregiver to my father during his illness and has spent the last 54 plus years, living and caring for him. Our loss is profound but we know she is with our Lord and Savior and we know without a shadow of a doubt, we will see her beautiful blue eyes again. I love you mama! 💕
