Mary Dailey Tessier's Obituary
Mary (Dailey) Tessier, 77, went with the angels on August 28, 2023. She was born on November
29, 1945, to Bill and Alice Dailey. She was a Welfare Investigator for Eldorado and Santa Cruz
County retiring in August 2003. She loved the outdoors, fishing with her husband, traveling, and
cooking. Her favorite places were Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Lake Tahoe. Mary loved the
water and the ocean held a special place in her heart.
Mary is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul Tessier; son Gregg Tessier (Amy);
granddaughters Allison Hellesvig and Taylor Carlier (Justin); grandsons Christopher Hellesvig
(Rachael), Aric Hellesvig (Elaina), and Nicholas Tessier; great granddaughters Grace, Nora, Fae,
and Arya ; great grandsons Cole and Cruz; and nephew Tommy Dailey. Mary is preceded in
death by her daughter, Dana Knighton; and parents, Bill and Alice Dailey; and siblings Bill,
Barney, and Sam Dailey.
