Ricardo "Luis" Carillo Rivera's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ricardo “Luis” Carrillo Rivera on June 15, 2026. Born in Huejuquilla el Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, Ricardo learned the value of hard work from an early age. Through determination and dedication, he sought greater opportunities in the United States, not only for himself, but for his family. Through years of perseverance, he opened doors for those who followed and built a lasting legacy that will continue to bless generations of his family.
He found great joy in baking bread, tending his garden, and using his talents to build and repair things for those he loved. He was known for his joyful spirit, love of singing, and gift for bringing people together. Whether among family, friends, or strangers, he had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and included, and he brought life and laughter to every gathering.
Above all, Ricardo's greatest joy was his family. Where they were, he wanted to be, and his greatest accomplishment was finding the restored gospel, which gave him a sure knowledge of eternal families and the promise that we will see one another again. His greatest desire was simply to be surrounded by those he loved, and his home, his songs, and his laughter created memories that will be treasured forever. He will be deeply missed as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and dear friend, but his love, faith, and example will live on in all who knew him.
