Allan Robert Gustafson's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to our father, Allan Robert Gustafson, who passed away peacefully on the afternoon of February 22, 2025, at the age of 87. He was with his oldest son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Monica, when he departed from this world. He was on hospice and residing at Volante Senior Living when he passed away.
Allan was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara. He is survived by his two sons Scott Gustafson (daughter-in-law Monica Gustafson) and Brad Gustafson, his grandson Parker Gustafson, his sister Arlene Fowler (nieces: Lori and Dana), his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jorge and Elsa McClean (nieces: Elena and Clara), and many family members and friends. Allan was a hard worker, a problem solver, a loving husband, a “lucky” father, a “cool” uncle, a down to earth Papa and lifelong friend to many. He will be remembered as the patriarch and pillar of strength of the Gustafson family, and will be greatly missed.
Please join us to commemorate his remarkable life and memories we cherish. A Memorial Service for Allan will take place, on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 3:00pm– 6:00pm, at the Carson Valley Methodist Church, located at 1375 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, Nevada 89410. The service will begin at 3:00pm, followed by a reception in the hall. We will be serving appetizers and desserts. Sweet treats were Allan’s favorite!
