Gloria (Gladys) Noemi (Aguirre) Doheny passed away on April 8, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Gloria moved to the US from El Salvador after losing both of her parents in the 1940s. She lived in San Francisco and worked at a bank where she met her future husband Walter Doheny, an Air Force airman. They had 3 children before divorcing in the 1970s. She was an excellent artist. Mostly in oils. Later as a computer programmer and software QA.
Gloria is predeceased by her Sister Aida McAuley, and her son Paul Doheny. Gloria is survived by her sister Ruth, son Robert Doheny (wife Gayle), her daughter Dana Novotny (husband Keith), grandchildren, Chris (wife Crystal), Kevin (wife Natalie), Corinne, great grandchildren Raelynn, Laney, Logan, Lance, Liam, Lawson and great-great grandson Asher.
