Dylan Zigenis
Jeff, I cherished our friendship and the time we got to spend together. You had a way of finding the trail nobody else knew about, the shortcut nobody else could see, and always getting people (especially me) out of jams they had no business getting into.
The last time we talked, you told me:
“The way we’ve bounced off each other over the years is uncanny. I think there’s some kind of cosmic bungee cord that allows us to get some distance, but at a certain point we’re flung back together.”
I wish there had been one more bounce.
I’ll miss the rides, the stories, the laughs, the education, the nights in the desert and the days in the shop, and the strange coincidences that always seemed to follow us around.
Thank you for being my friend, Pops. I miss you.
