Joey. What fun you brought to anything; always game for whatever craziness was about to happen. The memories we have of all the soccer tournaments just make us smile when we think of you. You belong in the very top tier of human beings. It's been our good fortune to have known you. Sad is too simple of a word to convey the utter gut punch we feel for you and for your family. I spent a lot of time working on projects in Hawai’i and California with Joe. He was a very proud father and grandfather- speaking often about his excitement for his new grandchildren during lunch’s or dinners after field work. He would call me to check in and catch up between projects and we chatted about a month before he passed when he heard we may be working together again. Such a nice guy. This pic was from lunch on a Northern California project. We’ll miss ya Joe.
One of the best people I have ever met. Patient and supportive. Treated me like family and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Made me laugh while working and made the job fun. The world will not be the same without him. He was like a father to me on site. Miss you Joey!
